The Lee County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Marquez Cain of Coca Cola Consolidated has been appointed as its new President, effective January 2025.
Mr. Cain brings over two decades of experience in business leadership and civic engagement to the role.
"We are thrilled to announce Marquez as the Lee County Chamber of Commerce President," said Jenna McGuirt, Chamber Executive Director. "His expertise and passion for community growth make him the ideal candidate to lead our organization into its next chapter."
With strong roots in Lee County, Marquez will have the community’s success at the forefront of his tenure as President. Having worked on recent partnerships with the Lee County School District, Mr. Cain has already begun making positive impacts for our local economic environment. As the Production Supervisor at Coca Cola Consolidated, he also implemented the “Truck Driver Appreciation Day” for CDL drivers at Coca Cola RCT.
After graduating from Bishopville High School, Marquez went on to graduate from Central Carolina Technical College. He is excited to continue the Chamber’s partnership with the key leaders in education in our community.
Marquez enjoys spending time with his family. He’s been married to Katrice Cain for 23 years. They have three children and a grandchild on the way.
As President, Marquez will be responsible for advancing the Chamber's mission to promote business growth, advocate for community interests, and enhance the quality of life in Lee County.
